Blend 37 is an organic blend created on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Caffè Pe-Fè roastery and dedicated to one of the founders, Ferrero Piaciarolo.
This is a complex blend that combines the unmistakable aroma, delicate flavor, and light acidity of prestigious organic Arabica coffees, primarily classified as specialty coffees, with the bold, intense character of Indonesian organic Robusta coffees.
Blend 37 stands out for its great olfactory intensity conferred by the medium roasting and the prevalence of South American Arabica beans, which make up 90% of the blend, leaving a persistent aftertaste on the palate with sweet fruity notes and dark chocolate.
The selection of premium green coffees that make up Blend 37 was made not only to create a high-quality organic blend with a distinctive aroma, but also to evoke the key characteristics that have always distinguished the first roaster of our artisanal micro roastery: creativity, determination, and versatility. These same characteristics make Blend 37 a unique blend ideal for both espresso and moka pots.
The 44 mm Caffè Pe-fè ESE pods in compostable filter paper are 100% compatible with all coffee machines with the Easy Serving Espresso system.
Each pod is individually wrapped to preserve the fragrance and organoleptic properties of the roasted and ground blend.
The pack of 50 pods is also a small work of art, designed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Caffè Pe-fè coffee roasting company. This isn’t just any old cardboard box designed for transportation and storage; all the graphics were hand-crafted by a young local artist, who, using her imagination and creativity, made espresso the centerpiece of the packaging using an original coffee painting technique. Every year we offer new representations that celebrate Italianness in all its beauty and artistic expression.
In addition to being an elegant and original packaging design, it was also designed as a convenient dispenser, smaller in size than traditional cartons, to be placed near the coffee machine.
